i feel pretty crappy.

yeah i know, le wife visited. what is he talkin' about, right? had a great weekend, but all good things must come to an end.

tomorrow is wednesday, start-date for a new position i've accepted as a salesperson at a LensCrafters in montgomeryville, pa.

yeah. i'm noticing more and more the ill-effects of not having a degree.

of course, having a degree can mean very little too... but it always helps. i'll spare my readers my bemoaning; we'll leave it at the kid being very depressed.

i work in a fkng mall.

unfortunately, this is the least of my troubles.

i have a feeling that this year will prove to be as bad as it is good, which is a roller coaster i'm not prepared to ride.

UGH.

i feel u but
ho jobs are better than no jobs
if i were u, i'd start applying to schools
scholarships, whatever

not that that's the most immediate remedy
but it may prove effective longterm
and till then
i guess u can join me in working toward financial independence
and struggling to find a way to cake fast in the meantime w/o going to prison

i'm finna have 3 jobs next year if things get bad enough

just make sure u get something for it all in the end
i know i will

no mall is gonna make or break u

It's all good... I was workin at a mall 3 years ago, probably makin less than you. Now I got a house, a car, and more food in the fridge than I'll ever be able to eat. Life is funny like that, peaks and valleys and whatnot, so don't let it get you down.

newfoundfriend,

i am the poster girl of depression minus the loss of appetite and sexual urges. therefore, feel free to bemoan me when u feel like moaning. mall jobs make u fat. dont spend ur money in the food court. all good things in time. i know it's hard to say/believe, but patience is a virtue. ALL good things in time. nothing that comes quickly lasts, and i mean NOTHING.

watching these playoffs,
